Summary: Your personal finance data (income, expenses, loans, investments) is processed locally in your web browser. We do not store or transmit your financial ledgers to private tracking servers.

1. Local-First Financial Record Storage

RupeePulse operates predominantly as a client-side application. When you record income, expenses, EMIs, insurance policies, and investments, this data is saved directly in your browser's localStorage on your personal device. RupeePulse has no access to your entered amounts, merchant names, or portfolio values.

You can completely export your records at any time as a portable JSON file from the Settings panel, or wipe all stored local data with one click.

2. Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies

RupeePulse displays third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense to fund free access to the application and its financial editorial guides. As part of this service:

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to RupeePulse or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to RupeePulse and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

3. Web Analytics

We use Google Analytics to monitor aggregated site traffic patterns, page load performance, device types, and geographic distribution at a country/city tier. Google Analytics collects anonymized IP addresses and non-personally identifiable technical telemetry to help us optimize interface responsiveness.

4. User Rights & Data Erasure

Because your financial ledgers reside in browser storage, you have complete sovereignty over your data. You may:

Clear all entries via Settings > Clear All Data.
Purge browser cookies and local site data through your browser settings.
Utilize browser ad-blockers or privacy extensions without breaking core offline calculation functionality.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our advertising configurations or statutory compliance mandates. Material revisions will be reflected with an updated date above.
